Welcome to my website, my name is Ashley Bliss and I am an artist and lover off all the arts. My artistic background is that I graduated from Missouri State University(Southwest Missouri State University when I attended it), with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography. I spent 4 years of my life in multiple darkrooms there developing and printing my work of 35mm, medium, and large format film photography, and it was fabulous! Studying the fundamentals of photography, drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and many classes of art history was amazing. I can spend an entire day by myself in an art museum and have a ball. Who I am as an artist at this point of my life is due to my studies in Missouri and I cherish those days.

After college I moved to Oahu, Hawai’i, Vail, Co, St. Louis, Mo, and then to Huntington Beach, CA in 2011. I have lived in the north coast county of San Diego for 10 years now and I love it! I was raised in a suburb of St. Louis, but I was actually born in Southern California so I really get a sense of coming full circle in my life living here. Throughout all these years I had various jobs in photography while working in the restuarant idustry for over 20 years.

After realizing that I was passionate about graphic design as much as I was about photography, I went on to continue my college education earning Associates Degrees in both Graphic and Web Design. Currently, I have had a full-time job now for a year now in the creative arts field as a graphic designer and photographer that has and everyday continues to help me sharpen so many skills. I also have time for a couple of freelance graphic design clients, both which whom I have worked with for many years now. Some of my hobbies that I enjoy are: photography, painting, running, going to the beach, hiking, riding my bike, playing tennis with my friends, rollerblading, surfing, city hopping, visiting local parks and visiting more National Parks in the USA.
